Hi, i am Lars

My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography.

I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like. Around the world.

Ther are the special moments in life that have brought me to photography. As a husband and dad of two girls, I am relaxed ;-) and enjoy every moment.

Even after years, my photos are meant to revive the emotions of the moment. That's my motivation and passion.

This picture was made on the beach of Koh Chang/Thailand with a beautiful wedding couple from Germany. I really loved the very personal moment this nice moon. No colors are needed for this nice moment.

This picture was taken at a Russian-German wedding and shows the moment when the bride gets the veil removed. From this moment on she is no longer a bride but a wife. The look, the tender touch of the two and the deliberate mood was magical.

The most beautiful pictures are created when the bride and groom do not even know that they are being photographed. Like this couple in a tropical setting.

It means that the most beautiful wedding photos are taken at sunset. I say the weather does not matter. These are the special moments that make a photo special...

Why do I like this picture so much? Because it shows naturally why people are taking a common path. A person at your side who loves you the way you are. That is the reason why people get married, go a common way ... and give new life to the world.
Taken with a Canon EOS R and an EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS III USM.

It was the first time after the corona-lockdown that a wedding couple could join a party with 50 people. Especially in Cologne, it was time to toast with a beer called "Kölsch".

This pic was made with an 200mm lens. I love to take photos with this lens, because from a distance there are always unobserved moments.
The essence of the wedding report is to photograph the bride and groom as authentically as possible. When the couple says in the end; Yes, that is us. I did a successful job.

Love makes time standstill. In the middle of the city center of Aachen, this wedding couple lets time standstill. No matter what happens around them - nothing can distract their love. Maybe another form of lockdown.

...

Time can stand still when two people love each other. I love this picture, especially because we were only undisturbed for a short time in Cologne's subway. That moment was magical because the world stopped spinning for a brief moment.
Made with a Canon EOS R and a Sigma Art 1.4 lens.

Corona concerns us more than ever before. Especially in these times, it is important that we do not let ourselves get down. Love can't stop anything - not even a virus. We all just protect ourselves with wonderfully creative masks like those of Laura and Till from Düsseldorf. But I'm still looking forward to the times when laughter won't disappear behind a mask.

This picture was taken near an airport, in front of an aircraft hangar. It takes no more than two loving people. I like it to minimize the essence of a wedding to the bare minimum.

...

This wonderful couple was one of my favorites in the year 2019. And what expresses the essence of a wedding more than life born of love?
