Taking during the summer wedding of Charlotte and Alex at Bre-Pen Farm in Mawgan Porth Cornwall.
We went down to the beach at Mawgan Porth to capture both their individual portraits as well as their couple shots. As you can see the tide was coming in so we didn't have long on this busy beach but the shots we managed to capture were absolutely beautiful and they were totally worth getting my shoes soaking wet for....
Following on from my winning image in the 13 Competition, here is another wedding portrait which was taken on location at The Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary or Cerkev Marijinega Vnebovzetja as it is called in Slovene which stands on Bled Island. Bled is one of the most inspiring places I have ever visited, in fact Slovenia in itself is so beautiful.
The wedding was in New York's Hudson Valley at a beautiful venue - Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill Mansion.
At sunset, I suggested a few shots on the grounds in the warm late day light.
As we were returning to the party, with the sun about to disappear beneath the horizon, I looked back and captured this magical moment.
This was captured at Imperial Sand Dunes in Brawley, CA. Two of my friends asked me to shoot their wedding engagement and this was one of the spots we chose to shoot at. It was just perfect timing getting that sun right below them. Truly honored to capture something magical like this for them and grateful for the opportunity.
This was captured at Solona Beach in San Diego, CA. I always enjoy capturing and creating moments when I do wedding engagements. I really wanted to make this photo look like a painting. Everythings looks so surreal, that's why it's amazing. Got to love living in San Diego where you can get great captures at a beach.
